Great Stress Relievers that can work wonders for your mood!

Stress! Everyone experiences it! and no one can escape it. But there are ways to help alleviate stress so that you can live a longer and healthier life. It is no surprise that stress can kill and or do lots of damage to your body. So it is important to always find ways to relieve stress.

Go back to your childhood play! Do you remember when you were a kid and you were carefree and happy. You probably loved to just play all day long. Well try and do some of the activities you did as a child such as:

Painting!! – Go to your local dollar store or stop by Ebay online and buy yourself some water colors. Or better yet! you can make your own water colors with some food coloring, cornstarch and water. You can also use school glue and food coloring if you’d like. Get some regular paper and start painting.

Coloring- Till this very day i absolutely Love coloring! it is one of the most relaxing activities around. It helps you breathe at a more calmer pace, it lowers your blood pressure and it relaxes you. Coloring allows you to focus on something else and helps you to bring your body down to a more relaxed & stress free state. So next time you see one of your kids coloring or you see a coloring book and crayons in the store, grab a few and try coloring. You will be amazed at how great and relaxed you feel afterwards.

Art Journaling- you don’t have to be an artist to art journal. All you need is some paper and color pencils or markers and go! You’ll be surprised at how relaxed you are after one try. As you do more you’ll start to see that you’re actually not bad at it.

Meditation- there’s so many meditation apps out there than you’re almost unable to say I dont know where to begin with meditating. Google play has so many options even meditation apps for kids. Sometimes all we need to do to relieve stress is to remember to breathe!
